Welcome to the Bainbridge Christian Church family.

We know you have questions! We hope the below helps. If you need anything else, please don't hesitate to reach out!

What Type of People Attend The Church?

Bainbridge Christian Church is made up of a wide range of people. We have babies, many children and students, married couples both newly married and many who have been married for awhile. We have adults that are single and a few precious treasures who are in their 80s & 90s.

People come from a lot of different backgrounds. Some people have been in church their whole lives. Others are just coming back to church. And some are finding community for the first time. You could see people you recognize from work, from community organizations, or from passing in the gas station.

What is worship like on Sunday?

Most people come in and spend time meeting new people or reconnecting. Worship usually begins with a welcome and 3 songs. Each Sunday can be different with a variety of songs. From hymns to current songs you can hear on Christian radio stations, we love it all. We celebrate communion each Sunday. We have what is called “open communion.”

If you are a Christian, confess Jesus Christ, you are encouraged to participate. Children are dismissed after communion time before our community prayer time. Where people can share praises and prayer needs. The message from God’s word follows. Nursery is available during the service or families can wait until children are dismissed and enjoy worship together.

When I Visit, What Will Happen?

If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you or have you stand up. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for a while—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church family for you.

How Should I Dress?

You’ll find mainly casual clothes and many in bluejeans. Come in what is comfortable for you because our church family is not about what you look like or what you wear.

What is the Church Building Like?

Our church building may look old from the outside but it is a modern space with an inviting atmosphere inside. We understand the space may be unusual for you if you are used to pews.
